Krista Wenz is a licensed paramedic of 34+ years. She worked for 23 years as a Firefighter / Paramedic for local ambulance services and fire departments. Krista is an instructor at various community and private colleges teaching EMT and Paramedic students – she has an extensive wealth of knowledge in emergency medicine.
In addition to her expertise in emergency medicine, Krista has worked as a Mental Health Technician in a psychiatric ward and has experience in emergency crises.
Krista has also served as a Drill-Instructor, Field Training Officer, and EMS Captain for multiple agencies, and has extensive knowledge in CPR, First-Aid, PALS, BLS, and ALS.
Krista is now retired from emergency medical services, but remains dedicated to the field as an EMS Educator. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience with those interested in entering the pre-hospital emergency medical field.
In her free time, Krista enjoys working on her farm, reading true-crime novels, and conducting investigative research.
